was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
Courthous in Byran,
Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:00•A. M.
on Friday, September.
26, 1975, with the following present:

William R. Vance, County Judge, presiding;
Bill J. Cooley, Commissioner Precinct 1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner Precinct 3;
W. A. Stasny, Commissioner Precinct 4;
Frank Boriskie, County Clerk.

The first item to be discussed was an application to the
Criminal Justice Council for a 100% Grant for the Probation Department.
as presented by John Godfrey, Probation Officer. After reviewing the
application and some discussion of the Court, Judge Vance moved that
the application be approved and forwarded to the Brazos Valley Develop-
ment Council for their consideration. Motion was seconded by Comm-
issioner Sims and carried unanimously.
Judge Vance laid before the Court the Resolution adopted by the
Texas Water Quality'Board approving the private sewage facility
regulations adopted by the Commissioners Court at their August 25,
1975 meeting.
The Court next considered bids for-office-furniture for the
County Attorney's office as follows:
Secretarial desk with typing return:
News Office Supply $227.36
Engineering and Office Corp. 306.00
Advanced Business Equipment 273.53
Secretarial chair:
News Office Supply $ 54.00
Engineering and Office Corp. 55.20
Advanced Business Equipment 80.00
On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by Commissioner Cooley,
the court unanimously voted to accept the low bid of 'News Office
Supply for the two pieces of furniture.

On motion by Judge Vance, seconded by Commissioner Cooley, the
Court unanimously'voted to accept the bid of IBM Corp. for a correct-
ing selectric typewriter for the County Attorney's Office. This being
the best bid received.
There being no further business, the Court adjourned.
