M. on Monday, May 8, 19729 with the following present: William R. Vance, County Judge, presiding; Raymond A. Nolan, Commissioner of Precinct # 1; Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct # 2; Clyde J. Porterfield, Commissioner of Precinct # 3; W. A. Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct # 4; Frank Boriskie, County Clerk. The minutes of the regular meeting held April, 10, 1972 were read and approved without change. The Court received, approved and ordered filed as submitted the following reports for April, 1972: B. V. Elkins, Welfare Officer; William T. Sistrunk, County Agricultural Agent; Daniel P. Kubecka, Assistant County Agricultural Agent; Curtis Taylor, Jr., Associate County Agricultural Agent; Pricilla Jones, Home Demonstration Agent. Commissioner Stasny moved that such payment be made and the time warrant issued. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Nolan and unanimously carried. The next item for consideration was the annual payment to the budget of the Brazos Valley Development Council, the Council having requested the sum'of $2,475.00 for the period June 16, 1972 to June 15, 1973. Commissioner Nolan moved that such payment be made. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Stasny and carried unanimously. i The Court next considered bid for the purchase of two type writers for the County Agent's Office. On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by Commissioner Nolan, the Court unanimously voted to accept the low U d of Otis McDonald in the amount of $4-11.60 1 per typewirter. On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by Commissioner Stasny, the Court unanimously voted to pay expenses of foster care for the Month of April in the amount of $509.32. It was noted that reimbursement from the U. S. Department of Health Education and Welfare totaled $554.60. On motion by Commissioner Stasny, seconded by Commissioner Nolan the Court unanimously voted to accept the low bid of Otis McDonald for the purchase of one adding machine for the District Clerk,'.s office, in the amount of $139.00 trade. On motion by Commissioner Nolan, seconded by Commissioner Stasny, the Court unanimously voted to pay the sum of $ 3J2.cofor fire calls to the City of Bryan. an motion by Commissioner Nolan, Seconded by Commissioner Wilcox, the Court unanimously voted to pay all bills which have been properly filed and approved.
