Porterfield, Commissioner of Precinct #3; W. A. S tasny, Commissioner of Precinct #4; Frank Boriskie, County Clerk. The Court received, approved and ordered filed as submitted the following reports for Februarys B. V. Edkins, Welfare Officer; William T. Sistrunk, County Agricultural Agent; Daniel P. Kubecka, Assistant County Agricultural Agent; Curtis Taylor, Jr., Associate County Agricultural Agent; Mrs. Pricilla Jones, Home Demonstration Agent. On motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried the Court voted to accept the low bid of News Office Supply in the amount of $61.20 for the purchase of such cabinet. The Court next considered the proposal for the purchase of electronic voting equipment. After hearing from representatives of the bidding firms Commissioner Porterfield moved to accept the low bid of Voting Instrument and Products Corporation for furnishing 200 voting machines, together with related services for the sum of $40,000.00. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Wilcox. Commissioners Porterfield, Wilcox and the County Judge voted aye. Commissioners Nolan and Stasny voted no. The County 4udge announced that the motion had carried. Commissioner Porterfield moved that the following Order be passed, providing for the borrowing of $30,000.00 for the purchase of such voting machines: I "It is Ordered that the'Court approve the issuance of a Time Warrant in the sum of $30,000.00 for the purchase of 200 electronic voting machines from Voting Instruments and Products Corporation, payable in 6 annual installments of $5,000.00 each, bearing interest at a rate of 5% per annum, the interest payable annually with the principal installments, such Warrant to be payable to the First National Bank of Bryan, Texas, out of the General Fund." On motion by Commissioner Stasny, seconded by Commissioner Nolan, the Court unanimously voted to pay the expenses of foster care for the month of February in the sum of $676.80. On motion by Commissioner Porterfield, seonded by Commissioner Stasny the Court unanimously voted to approve the plat of Hollow Heights Subdivision in Brazos County with the understanding that the County would be under no obligation to build, construct or maintain any of the streets or roads in said subdivision. On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by Commissioner Porterfield the Court voted unanimously to pay all bills which had been properly filed and approved. There being no further business the Court adjourned. The foregoing minutes were examined and approved in open a Court on a 10th day of A i'l, 1972. William R.
