A special meeting of the Commissioners Court of Brazos
County, Texas, was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
Courthouse in Bryan, Texas beginning at 9:00 A,, M

f following present: ;
Willaim R. Vance, County Judge, presiding;
Raymond A. Nolan, Commissioner of Precinct #1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct #2;
W. A. Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct #4;
Clyde J. Porterfield, Commissioner of Precinct #3.
On motion by Commissioner Porterfield

Commissioner Stasny, the Court unanimously voted to purchase
a radar unit for use by the Highway Patrol for the sum of
$1,585.00, same being the lowest bid therefor.
On motion by Commissioner Porterfield

Commissioner Stasny the Court unanimously voted to purchase
jthe lot and improvements situated next to the BLD property, -
from the heirs of the Patterson estate for the total sum of

$71,500.00 cash.

j On motion duly made, seconded and unanimously passed

the Court voted to purchase an IBM typewriter for the County.
!Judge's Office for the trade difference of $286.00.
There being no further business, the Court adjourned.
