On motion duly made and seconded the Court unanimously vote
to approve all'reports and pay all bills which have been properly
filed and approved.
There being no further business the Court adjourned.
SPECIAL MEETING - SEPTEMBER 17, 1969
A special meeting of the Commissioners Court of Brazos

County, Texas, was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in
the Courthouse in Bryan, Texas, beginning at 10:00 A:'M. with the
following present:
William R. Vance, County Judge, Presiding;
Raymond Nolan, Commissioner of Precinct #1; "
George Dunn, Commissioner of Precinct #2;

Clyde J. Porterfield, Commissionmr of Precinct #3;
W. A. Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct #4;

The County Judge presented the proposed budget for the
,year,of 1970 and after a preleminary discussion the Court

orderd the following notice of hearing be given:
NOTICE OF HEARING ON BRAZOS COUNTY BUDGET FOR 1970
' Public notice is hereby given that pursuant
to action of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, Texas, taken on September 17, 1969, open
public hearing will be held in the Commissioners'
Courtroom in the Courthouse in Bryan, Texas, at
1:30 P. M. on Wednesday, September 24, 1969, for

consideration of the 1970 Budget for Brazos County,, =

Texas, submitted to the Court on September 17, 1969,

and now remaining on file in the office of the
;'County Clerk of said County, all in accordance with
law.
Tax payers and others interested are invited and,,,,
' urged to acquaint themselves with said Budget during

At the conclusion of the hearing, final action

Pursuant to notice given on September 17, 1969 the
Commissioners Court convened at 1:30 P. M. on Wednesday,
1-- September 24, 1969 for the consideration of the proposed "

budget for Brazos County for;the year' of 1970. After ,
' hearing from those interested citizens present, Commissioner-.
j ; Porterfield moved that the following budget be adopted by '
Brazos County for-'the,year 1970. The motion was seconded
by Commissioner Bunn and unanimously carried.
