There berg no further business, the meeting adjourned. , 1••••.• 4 SPECIAL MEETING - JULY 26, 1967 A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas, was held in the Courthouse at Bryan, Texas, at 10 00 A. M. on July 26, 1967, with the following present W. C. Davis, County Judge, presiding, Raymond Nolan, Commissioner of Precinct 1, George Dunn, Commissioner of Precinct 2, Clyde J. Porterfield, Commissioner of Precinct 3, and W. A. Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct 4. The purpose of the meeting was to select a County Judge to succeed W. C.Davis, whose resignation as County Judge of Brazos County, Texas, was effective September 1. After con- sidering several persons for the position, on motion by Porterfield, seconded by Nolan, the • Court voted unanimously to appoint W. R. Vance County Judge, effective September 1, 1967. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
