On motion made, seconded, and unanimously passed, the Court voted to pay Dittmar &

Company, Inc , the sum of $3,900 00 for financial advisory services rendered Brazos County in
he issuance of $400,000 Road Bonds, Series 1966, sold by Brazos County
On motion made, seconded, and unanimously pasaed,the Court appointed the following
citizens of Brazos County to a Committee to make a study and recommendations to the Court in

Commissioners' Court room in the Courthouse in Bryan, Texas, beginning at 10 00 A. M., on

On motion made, seconded, and unanimously passed, the Court voted to approve the
Public Weigher's Bond of Homer Adams
On motion made, seconded, and unanimously passed, the Court voted to pay the expenses
of B. H. Dewey, Jr , Justice of Peace, Precinct 4, Place 1, and Jesse Stanfield, Constable,
Precinct 4, who attended the Constables and Justices of Peace Conference hold in Beaumont.
There was next presented to the Court a request from Mr John Godfrey, Probation
Officer, representing his department and also Judge John M Barron, Judge of the Juvenile
Court, for payment on the funeral expenses of William Carle Mangan, a minor child, ward of tR
b, Juvenile Court, who had been buried by Hillier Funeral Home. The entire bill from Hillier
Funeral Home was $762.00 On motion made, seconded, and unanimously passed, the Court voted
to pay $100 00 on such funeral expense, since said child was a ward of the Juvenile Court
On motion made, seconded, and unanimously passed, the Court voted to pay expenses of
John Godfrey, Probation Officer, to the State meeting of Probation Officers held at Kerrville
Texas
Mr Godfrey next presented a request for additional automobile allowance in the form,
of a credit card to be furnished him by Brazos County Such request was taken under advise-
ment
On motion made, seconded, and unanimously passed, the Court voted to approve all
reports and to pay all bills which have been properly filed and approved
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned

"We have attempted to study and come up with the answers to the three questions that
the Judge posed when we were named to the committee

(a) The property should be made available to any group or activity which will be of
value in the development and well being of Brazos County
(b) First priority use should be for Agricultural and Agricultural related activities
with primary emphasis on youth
