Wehrman, Justice of Peace, Precinct 5 None On motion by Davis, seconded by Nolan, and unanimously passed, the Brushy Water Supply Corporation is hereby authorized to lay its pipes, mains and conductors, and all other fixtures for conducting water through, under, along, across and over the public roads of the County of Brazos, State of Texas, at the plac8a designated on the map dated December 20, 1965 of Garland Engineering Company, Waco, Texas, and as said map may be altered or revised by the engineers generally in the area. It is understood between the Commissioners Court and the said corporation thatathe Commissioners Court may require such corporation at its own expense to relocate its lines located on any County roads so as to permit the widening or changing of traffic lanes, by giving thirty (30) days written notice to such corporation and specifying the line or lines to be moved, and indicating the place on the new right-of-way when such i' t 4 ~ 1 ~ ~ d 3 c' ~I -c y j , 522 February 14, 1966 r tines may be placed. On motion by Porterfield, seconded by Dunn, and unanimously passed, the Courthouse nginser, Fred Seale, was authorized the sum of $900 00 annually for automobile expense used n connection with courthouse business, effective January 1, 1966. On motion by Stasny, duly seconded and unanimously passed, the Court voted to authoriz the purchase of a new desk for the Health Unit at a price of $133 36. On motion by Stasny, duly seconded and unanimously passed, the Court authorized the County Clerk to purchase a flat-top table for use of plat books in the County Clerk's office There then came on to be considered the matter of appointing Election Judges for Brazo County for the year 1966. Precinct 4, Place 2 Fees collected and remitted to Brazos County 2,003.00 Fees to be paid by County for 86 cases ® $4 00 344 00 Jesse Stanfield, Constable, Precinct 4 (fees) 50 25 Mr. Fred Seale reported to the Court that the air-conditioning tower used by the .1ourthouse was in a dangerous condition, in that it was completely rotted, and that it would be highly desirable to have same replaced during the winter months and prior to the summer season. Mr. Seale further reported that the tower in its present condition was dangerous in that there was always the possibility that the fan could become loose and fly out through the tower and thereby cause damage and injury, especially to persons in the vicinity of the Sheriff's office Mr Seale further reported that he had contacted all of the local air- conditioning companies and the only one with facilities to replace the existing tower was the W. E. Kutzschbach Company, who had submitted the following estimate "Install one (1) new Marley cooling tower No 5875 (Nominal 80 Tons) to replace existing cooling tower. We will furnish and install all new piping necessary for hooking up new tower The above we will perform for the total sum of Two Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty-Two and No/100 Dollars $2,932 00 " On motion by Nolan, seconded by Dunn, the Court voted unanimously to authorize Mr Seale to enter into contract with the W. E Kutzschbach Company for replacing the tower for the total sum of $2,932 00. , On motion by the County Judge, seconded by Dunn, the Court voted unanimously to sot as sponsors of the local Community Action Committee, created pursuant to the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964, at no expense to the County There was next presented to the Court the following letter, dated March 9, 19661 "Honorable W.
