the proposed buried telephone system to be installed in the Kurten area of Brazos County, as
requested.

Commissioners' Court room in the Courthouse in Bryan, Texas, beginning at 10 00 A. M. on

Our equipment is approved by the State Board of Control We give local service.
On motion made, seconded, and unanimously passed, the Court voted to pay Matue Paint
and Body Shop the sum of $55.00 for painting the pick-up truck used by the Associate County
Agent.
The County Judge next brought before the Court the proposition of the County paying
40% of the coat of a metall1c steel building to be eituated on property owned by St Joseph
Hospital and adjacent to said Hospital-for the purpose of storing a 200-bed emergency
hospital furnished to the Brazos County Civil Defense Unit The City of Bryan had previously
agreed to pay 40% of the cost, and the City of College Station 20% of such cost. The low bid
for such building was by J. 0. Cheatham, Contractor, Inca for the total price of $3,897.00.
On motion made, seconded, and unanimously passed, the Court voted to pay 40% of such cost, or
the sum of $1,558 80, for such steel building.
On motion made, seconded, and unanimously passed, the Court voted to approve Public
Weigher's bond of Lonnie Locke - ,
On motion made, seconded, and unanimously passed, the Count-voted to authorize Oeorgp
Dunn to sell a 2-ton truck owned by Precinct 2 to J. D. Dyer for the sum of $100.00 cash,
as salvage value of said truck
Then came on the matter,of receiving and canvassing the returns from elections hold on
April 3, 1965, at Kurten School and Fairview School for the election of two members of the
County Board of Education, being one member from County Commissioner's Precinct No 2 and
one member from County Commissioner's Precinct No. 4 From the returne'recerived-and
officially canvassed, the Court found and declared the resulte of the election for members of
the County Board of Education according to the following tabulation- ,

that charges be made only for the work actually performed. The estimated coats given in
the above tabulation are considered to be the maximum amount, based upon our present under-
standing of the project

=150,000 to $175,000 exclusive of right-of-way cost and only a small amount of relocation

request such engineering work to be done by the Texas Highway Department, Texas A&M Universi ,
or the City of Bryan or the City of College Station, and report back to the Court
