Box 951, Bryan, Texas " December 7, 1964 The Honorable Judge W. C. Davis /r J Brazos County Courthouse Bryan, Texas _ "Dear Honorable Judge Davis- - 'We are requesting your approval to place a direct buried cable facility off of Farm Road 1687 (Sandy Point Road) as indicated in red on the attached sketch The cable is to be placed at a minimum depth of 241' and would be placed by the plowing in method This will provide telephone service for a number of people along the Sandy Point t. FREIIMN, Division Plant Engineer " F On motion made, seconded, and unanimously passed, the Court voted to grant the request of the Southwestern States Telephone Company to use the right-of-way of Farm Road 1687 for the placing of its cable ' • ;d Mr. H. E. Sherrill, of Route S, Box 134, Bryan, Texas, appeared before the Court in connection with an accident in which he was involved, wherein a vehicle driven by him struck 1 a load of gravel on a County road in Precinct 4, which gravel belonged to Brazos County. Although there was no question that the County was not liable for such accident, in line with , - ito general policy it was the feeling of the Court that Mr Sherrill should be assisted in ; his damages On motion made, seconded, and unanimously passed, the Court voted to pay Mr, i Sicarrill the sum of $100 00 as part of his damages, there being no admission of liability on 461 1 December 14, 1964 • the part of the County for same. i On motion made, seconded, and unanimously passed, the bond of Raymond B. Buchanan an, Tax Assessor and Collector, in the amount of $8,894.00, was unanimously approved.
