WHEREUPON, based upon the foregoing tabulation of the returns received, the Court
found and declared that JOE NOVOSAD, JR., ROY BARNES, and BILLIE J. WILSON had been elected
as the three Local Trustees for Kurten Consolidated Common School District No. 10; that
JAMS L. BOONE had been elected as member of the County Board of Education from Commission-
ers' Precinct No. 1, that DON ANGONIA had been elected member of the County Board of
Education from Commissioners' Precinct No. 3, and that 0 B WILCOX was elected as a member
of the County Board of Education from the County at Large, anolt was so ordered.
On motion duly seconded and unanimously passed, the Court voted to approve all report
and to pay all bills which have been properly filed and approved.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
SPECIAL METING - APRIL 27, 1964
A epecialheeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas, was held in the
Commissioners' Court room in the Courthouse in Bryan, Texas, beginning at 10:00 A. M., on
April 27, 1964, with the following present- 1 ,
W. C. Davis, County Judge, presiding, _
Raymond A. Nolan, Commissioner of Precinct 1,
George Dunn, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Clyde J. Porterfield, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
W. A. Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct 4, and
A, B, Syptak, County Clerk.
Mr. 0. I Hair, Courthouse Custodian, presented bids for the purchase of a floor-
waxing machine, which bids were, as follows-
B and L Supply Company, Dallas, Texas . . $390 00
Vanguard Chemical Company, Bryan, Texas 287.35
Ray Criswell Distributing Company 282 50
- After considering the bids, the Court determined that the bid of Ray Criswell Distributing

Company was the low and beat bid offered, and on motion made, seconded, and unanimously
passed, the Court voted to purchase from Ray Criswell Distributing Company one Imperial
Floor Machine, l8" Block diameter, one horsepower motor, complete with polishing brush, 3 M
driving pad assembly, six stripping pads and six polishing pads, for the sum of $282 50.
The Court next considered the foliowing request from The Southwestern States Telephor
Company at Bryan, Texas, dated April 17, 1964•
"We are planning rural tetephone expansion in the Wellborn area This expansion
is proposed to be of the 'plow in method', that is buried directly in the ground
J) with a plow attached to a caterpillar. We bury these cables and wires a minimum
of 24" deep and usually along the shoulder of the county roads.
"The attached area map shows the location marked in red of our proposed
construction.
"Will you please give us your approval for this type of construction along these '
county roads."

On motion made, duly seconded, and unanimously passed, the Court voted to grant such
-ight-of-way easement to the Southwestern States Telephone Company, subject to the said Tele-
ihone Company maintaining, repairing, and moving if necessary such lines as required by the
;ommissioners' Court in connection urith such roads
Commissioner Nolan next requested permission of the Court to sell for junk an old truck
mud by his Precinct for the sum of $L00 00 in cash, said truck being over ten years' old a
Cncapable of being repaired to a usabLe condition On motion made, seconded, and unanimously
gassed, the Court voted to authorize Commissioner Nolan to sell said truck for $100.00 cash.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.

A regular meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas, was held in the
Commissioners' Court room in the Courthouse at Bryan, Texas, beginning at 10.00 A. M, on
Monday, May 11, 1964, with the following presents
W. C. Davis, County Judge, presiding,
Raymond Nolan, Commissioner of Precinct No. 1;
George Dunn, Commissioner of Precinct No 2,
Clyde J. Porterfield, Commissioner of Precinct No. 3,
W. A. Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct No. 4, and
A. B. Syptak, County Clerk.
The Court received, approval, and ordered filed, as submitted, the following reports:
