SPECIAL MEETING - JANUARY 20,1964
A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court was held in the Commissioners' Court
room of the Brazos County Courthouse in Bryan, Teyas, at 10 00 A. M. on January 20, 1964, with
the following present
W C Davis, County Judge, presiding,
Raymond A Nolan, Commissioner of Precinct No 1,
C. J Porterfield, Commissioner of Precinct No 3, and
W. A Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct No 4
The purpose of the special meeting was to consider the purchase of certain items
of photographic equipment owned by Deputy Sheriff W. J. Everett, Jr , and Richard J. Fronter-
house The County Judge informed the Commissioners that this equipment had been purchased by
these men approximately a year ago and used by them in the work of the Sheriff's Department

exclusively, and due to the fact that
ichard J. Fronterhouse had resigned his position with
the Sheriff's Department and was no longer employed by the County, he desired to sell his
interest in said equipment but that Deputy Sheriff W. J Everett was unable to purchase same
It was the recommendation of the County Judge that the County buy the entire stock of equip-
ment from both of said men for use by the Sheriff's Department On motion made, seconded, an
unanimously passed, the Court voted to purchase all of said dark-room and photographic equip-
ment from W J Everett, Jr , and Richard J Fronterhouse for a total sum of $500 00, for use
by the Sheriff's Department
The next item of business was the appointment of a County Health Officer for '
Brazos County for the year 1964, and on motion made, seconded, and unanimously passed, the
Court appointed Dr Richard H. Harrison, Jr , as Brazos County Health Officer for the year
1964, and the County Judge was instructed to notify State Department of Health of ouch
appointment.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
SPECIAL MEETING - JANUARY 31, 1964
A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court was held in the Commissioners'

Court room of the Brazos County Courthouse in Bryan, Texas, at 10 00 A. M. on January 31,
1964, with the following present
Raymond A. Nolan, Commissioner of Precinct No 1;
George Dunn, Commissioner of Precinct No 2; and
W. A. Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct No. 4, presiding.
The purpose of the meeting was to consider the purchase of a new Dozer for
Precinct 4, trading in a used Dozer. The following bids were submitted by Commissioner
