There being no further business, the meeting adjourned *,t,r,t,rt*********rr,t,t*,t,t*,t****#*********~*,t,t,t*,t**,r SPECIAL MEETING - DECEMBER 12, 1963 A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas, was held at one o'clock P. M. on December 12, 1963, with the following present W. C. Davis, County Judge, presiding, Raymond A. Nolan, Commissioner of Precinct No 1, George Dunn, Commissioner of Precinct No 2, and W. A. Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct No 4 The purpose of this special meeting was to consider the acquisition of right of yr for proposed Farm to Market Road extending from State Highway 21 at the west City-limits of Bryan southeast to Farm to Market Road 2513, which Farm to Market Road has heretofore been approved by the State Highway Department by Minute Order No. 53113,and which Minute Order va accepted by this Court at the regular meeting on July 8, 1963. Coftissioner Stasny reported that he had been unable to secure right of way across tracts of land owned by Thurmond and nd wife Vance and John F.Konec4 On motion made, seconded, and unanimously passed, the Court voted to direct the County Attorney to proceed with condemnation proceedings as quickly as possibl to acquire right of way across the property belonging to the above-named persons, as necessary for such Farm to Market Road There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. , SPECIAL MEETING - DECEMBER 13, 1963 A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court was held in the Commissioners' Court room of the Brazos County Courthouse in Bryan, Texas, at 10 00 A. M. on December 13, 1963, with the following present- _ W. C. Davis, County Judge, Raymond A. Nolan, Commissioner of Precinct No 1, George Dunn, Commissioner of Precinct No. 2, and W. A. Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct No. 4 The purpose of the special meeting was to consider bids for the purchase of a true by Precinct No. 2. Commissioner Dunn reported that he had received two bids on vehicle and equipment to be installed therein, as follows Corbusier Chevrolet Company $2,675.84, International Harvester Company $2,632 50. On motion made, seconded, and unanimously passe) the Court voted to accept the bid of the International Harvester Company and to authorize Commissioner Dunn to purchase said truck, to be paid for out of the Road and Bridge fund allocated to Precinct No 2 9 On motion made, seconded, and unanimously passed, the Court also voted to enter I into a contract with the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company for the relocating of telephone poles on right of way for proposed Farm to Market Road 2818, on such terms as to be agreed I• ffl E ~t •
