SPECIAL MEETING - MAY 2, 1963
A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas, was held in
the County Judge's office in the Courthouse in Bryan, Texas, at 9 00 A. N. on May 2, 1963,-
with the following present
W. C Davis, County Judge, presiding,
Raymond Nolan, Commissioner, Precinct 1,
George Dunn, Commissioner, Precinct 2,
C. J. Porterfield, Commissioner, Precinct 3,
W. A. Stasny, Commissioner, Precinct 4
There was also present at the meeting a delegation of the Trustees of the Brazos
County Independent School District, Mr. W D. Bunting, County School Superintendent, and Mr.
Raymond Buchanan, Brazos County Tax Assessor and Collector.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the request of the Brazos County Inde-
pendent School District for an office in the Courthouse from which to collect the School
District taxes. After much discussion, on motioq&ade, duly seconded, and unanim'o aly carr
the Court voted to authorize the Tax Collector for the Brazos County Independe c ool
District to occupy apace in the office of the Brazos County Tax Assessor and Collector until
September 1, 1963, at which time other space would be made available for such office eliewher
in the Courthouse. 1 , , r
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned

Monday, May 13, 1963, with the following present
