A discussion was then had on the proposed Constitutional Amendment requiring County Commissioners to run for office on a county-wide basis. Upon motion made, seconded, and unanimously passed, George Dunn. Commissioner of Precinct 2, C. J. Porterfield, Commissioner of Precinct 3, and W. A. Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct 4, were authorized to obtain bids on motor graders to be purchased by such Precincts Upon motion duly seconded an416nanimously passed, the Court voted to paq all bills which have been properly filed and approved Whereupon, the Court adjourned. M. on Tuesday, February 26, 1963, with the following present W. C. Davis, County Judge, presiding, Raymond A. Nolan, Commissioner of Precinct No 1, George Dunn, Commissioner of Precinct No. 2, W. A. Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct No 4, and A. B. Syptak, County Clerk, The meeting was held with representatives from the Police Departments of the City of Bryan, City of College Station, Texas A. & M. Campus Security, Brazos County Sheriff's Department, and Texas Department of Public Safety, relative to the purchase by the County of its own transmitter system for the Sheriff's Department and other County law enforcement officers.
