M., o Tuesday, November 13, 1962, with the following present- W• C. Davis, County Judge, Presiding, Raymond A. Nolan, Commissioner of Precinct L, George Dunn, Commissioner of Precinct 2, Clyde J. Porterfield, Commissioner of Precinct 3, W A. Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct 4, and A. B. Syptak, County Clerk. The Court received, approved, and ordered filed as submitted the following reports B. V. Elkins, Veterans Service Officer, for the month of October, 1962; Brazos County Welfare Board, by B. V. Elkins, Chairman, for month of October, 1962 William T. Sistrunk, County Agricultural Agent, for month of October, 1962; Donald Douglas, Assistant County Agricultural Agent, for month of October, 1962; Emily Ritter, County Home Demonstration Agent, for month of October, 1962, E. O. Pace, Negro County Agricultural Agent, for month of October, 1962, Fannie J. Taylor, Negro County Home Demonstration Agent, for month of October, 196 ° The Court received, considered, and approved the following reports from County and Precinct officers showing official fees of office collected and remitted to the County Treasurer according to duplicate copies of Treasurer's Official Receipts attached thereto W C. E Gray, Constable of Justice Precinct 4 . . . . . . 64 80 Results of the General Election held in Brazos County, Texas, on Tuesday, November 6, 1962, were canvassed by the Court, found to be correct, and ordered recorded in the Election Results Records in the office of the County Clerk of this County. The Court then canvassed the results of a Local Option Election held on the 6th day of November, 1962, in Justice Precinct Number 6 of Brazos County, Texas, wherein the voters in said Precinct voted for and against the legal sale of beer for off-premises con- sumption only in said Justice Precinct 6 The Court, upon canvassing the returns of such Local Option Election, finds that a total of 77 votes were cast for the legal sale of beer for off-premises consumption only and 64 votes were cast against the legal sale of beer for off-premises consumption only The Court further finds that the said proposition for the legal sale of beer for off-premises consumption only carried, and it is hereby ordered by th Court that the sale of beer for off-premises consumption only in justice Precinct 6 :hall be and the same is hereby declared to be Legal ~ E i• a ~ 1¢ ` P I 1 • fill • , ,r r • 1 I 375 November 13, 1962 (Cont'd) The Court next considered the various group hospitalization and life insurance plane submitted to it by several different companies, and upon examination and discussion of said plane is of the opinion that the plan offered and proposed by Blue Cross- Blue Shield of Texas for hospitalization is the best of the plane submitted for the premium to be charged and on motion made, seconded, and unanimously carried, the Court accepted the plan of Blue Croce- Blue Shield of Texas, whereby the said group plan hospitalization and life insurance shall be put into effect and the County pay one-half of the premium each month on the officers and employees of the County only, effective December 1, 1962, or upon the required number of persons subscribing to the plan to put same into effect, whichever date is first. On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to pay all bills which have been properly filed and approved.
