TOTALS. . . . . . . . . $0.95 $0.95 $0.95 , Came on to be considered the matter of Brazos County allowing discounts on ad valorem taxes for the year beginning uctober 1, 1962, which might be paid in advance, as authorized by Article 7255b, Revised civil Statutes of Texas, as amended by Acte of the 46th Legislature, 1939, Page 654, Paragraph 1, and it being the opinion bf the members of the Court that tax relief is more equitable and uniform when given in the form of reduction in rate, which has been the practice of this Court whenever possible, on motion duly, seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted that the provisions of said law be not adopted and that Brazos County decline to exercise its option to allow such discounts on county taxes. Whereupon the Court adjourned. The foregoing minutes, beginning on Page 366, and concluded on Page 369, wee xam ned and approved in open Court on this the 10th day of September, 1962. W. C. RsGULAR MEETING - SEPTEMBLR 10, 1962 A regular meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas, was held in'the Commissioners' Courtroom at the Courthouse in Bryan, Texas, beginning at 10:00 o'clock A. M., on Monday, September 10, 1962, with the following present: W. C. Davis, County Judge, Presiding; Raymond A. Nolan, Commissioner of Precinct 1; George Dunn, Commissioner of Precinct 2, Clyde J. Porterfield, Commissioner of rrecinct 3; W. A. Stasny, Commissioner of rrecinct 4; a;d A. B. Syptak, county Clerk. The Court received, approved and ordered filed as submitted the following reports: B. V.
