' . 1 f I - r ~I I I v ~ _ l n r I I ~ ~ ~ 362 r Then came on the matter of receiving ..nd canvassing the returns from the i local option election held in Justice Precinct No. 6, in Brazos County, Texas, on may s, 1962, to determine whether or not the aala of alcoholic beverages in Justice rrecinct • 6, were prohibited or legalized, and it appearing to the Lommissionera' Court, upon so canvassing the returns of such election, that 68 votes were cast for the legal sale of beer and 76 votes were cast against the legal sale of beer, and that such election carried for the proposition *AGAINST THE LEGAL SALn OF BBSR^. IT 1S ACCORDINGLY ORDERED that such election was properly held, and the sale f of beer is absolutely prohibited in Justice rrecinct Number Six in Brazos Lounty, Texas. On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Lourt voted to pay all bills which have been properly filed and approved. On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the court voted to table the hiring of a wolf trapper at this time. Mr. Russell Hillier, President of the Bryan Foundation Corporation, appeared before the Court in regards to locating 4,000 acres of land for an industry interested in locating in Brazos County.
