On motion made, seconded and unanimously
adopted, the court voted to pay
all bills presented as of this date by Mr. Bernard Vogelgesang, Probation Officer in and
for Brazos County, Texas.
On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to pay all
bills which have been properly filed and approved.
Whereupon the court adjourned.

REGULAR MnLITING - JUNn 12. 1961.
A regular meeting of the commissioners court of Brazos county, Texas, was held
in the commissioners' Courtroom in the courthouse at Bryan, Texas, beginning at 10:00
o'clock A. M., on-Monday, June 12, 1961, with the following present:
W. C. Davis, county Judge, Presiding;
George Dunn, commissioner of Precinct 2,
Clyde J. Porterfield, commissioner of Precinct 3,
W. A. Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct 4, and
A. B. Syptak, county clerk.
The court received, approved and ordered filed as submitted the following
reports:
B. V. alkins, Brazos County Welfare Officer, for the month
of May, 1961
B. V. tlkins, Veterans Service Officer, for the month of
May, 1961 ,
r Emily Ritter, Brazos county Home Demonstration Agent, for the
month of May, 1961
William T. Sistrunk, Brazos county Agricultural Agent, for the y
month of May, 1961
E. 0. Pace, Negro county Agricultural Agent, for the month of
May, 1961
' Fanrie J. Taylor Negro county Home Demonstration Agent, for the
month of May, 1911.
The Court received, considered and approved the following reports from
County,and Precinct officers showing official fees of office collected and remitted to the
County Treasurer according to duplicate copies of Treasurer's official receipts attached F
thereto.

On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to donate
$500.00 to the Robert Henry Chapter of The Daughters of the Republic of Texas, to be used
to restore the old courthouse at Boonville, for the Centdhnial to be held in June, 1962.
Upon motion,made, duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to
hire Donald Douglas as Assistant County Agent of Brazos County, Texas, and fixed his ,
salary at $1,500.00 annually plus $600.00 for expense allowance, effective June 15, 1961.
Mr. John H. Godfrey, Brazos County Probation Officer, appeared before the
Court and presented a list of bills left due and owing by Bernard 9ogelgesang, ex-Probation
Officer of Brazos County, Texas. After discussion, and upon motion made, duly seconded
and unanimously adopted,the Court voted to pay the bills.
County Judge Davis laid before the Court the following communication:

"TO: Commissioners' Court of
Brazos County, Texas
Dues of your Court to the County Judges and Commissioners
• Association of Texas for the year 1961 are now due and `M1
payable.
Please remit the sum of $100.00, payable to. County
4udges and Commissioners Association of Texas, and mail
to Harry Taylor, Secretary-Treasurer, Courthouse, - C
Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
