• County Judge Davis laid before the Court a letter which he received from `
Virgil tsatill, Constable of Precinct 4, of Brazos County, Texas, requesting that he be
f~ allowed a-car expense account, for the use of his own personal car in performing official
duties. On motion duly made, seconded and unanimously passed, the Court voted to allow
Mr. Nstill $0.08 per mile, not to exceed 1,000 miles, for use of his automobile in
carrying out official duties of the office of Constable.
On motion duly made, seconded and unanimously passed, the Court voted to
allow the County Judge to seek bids for the installation of an elevator in the County
Courthouse.
On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to pay all ,
' a bills which have been properly tiled and approved.
Whereupon the Court adjourned.

A special meeting of the Commissioners Court of Brazos County, Texas, was
held in the County Courtroom in the courthouse at Bryan, Texas, beginning at 10:00 otclock
A. M., on Monday, January 2, 1961, with the following present.
W. C. Davis, County Judge, presiding,
• Raymond A. Nolan, Commissioner of Precinct No. 1;
George Dunn, Commissioner of Precinct No. 2,
Clyde J. Porterfield, Commissioner of Precinct No. 3; and z'
W. A. Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct No. 4.
This meeting was held immediately following the swearing in ceremony held
in the County Courtroom, presided over by County Judge V. U. Davis, and at which ceremony,
►he following County officials were sworn in for the new term:
