A regular meeting of the Commissioners Court of Brazos County, Texas, was
held in the Commissioners Courtroom in the courthouse, at Bryan, Texas, beginning at
LO 00 A. M., on Monday, December 10, 1960, with the following present

Miss Emily Ritter and Mrs Fannie J Taylor appeared before the Court and
requested that they be reimbursed for buying food used in recent demonstrations in the
county Home Demonstration Agents kitchen On motion duly seconded and unanimously
adopted, the Court voted to reimburse the-two County Home Demonstation Agents, as requested
On motion made, seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to purchase
a boats two out board motors and a trailer from the Brazos County Volunteer Emergency
Corporation, for a sum not to exceed $1,500 00.

"I On motion made, seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to approve
two bonds between Raymond B Buchanan, Tax Assessor-Collector and St. Paul Fire and
Marine Insurance Company, of St Paut,'Minnesota,,for the amounts of $27'984.00 and
,s a
$7,726.00.
On motion made, duty seconded and unanimously passed, the Court voted to close
the Courthouse and the various County Offices on Decembet 24, 25 and 26 for the Christmas
Holidays, and also close the Courthouse again on December 31, January L, and 2, for the
New Year Holidays
on motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to purchase
drapes for the office of the County Judge
On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to pay all
bills which have been properly filed and approved
