MINUTE ORDER
1 BRAZOS COUNTY
DISTRICT NO 17 Page 1 of 1 Pages
In BRAZOS COUNTY, IT IS ORDERED that the following described roads be
designated as FARM TO MARKET ROADS, subject to the condition that
Brazos County will urnis a required right of way clear of obatruc- er
tions and free of coat to the State
From end of F M Road 1687, 1 7 miles West of OSR, heat
to F M Road 50, a distance of approximately 2 3 miles
From end of F M Road 11179 at,Reliance Northeast to F. M•.
Road 2038, a distance of approximately 1 0 mile
At such time as the County shall accept the provision of this Order and
agfee to the furnishing of the required right of way, the State Highway
Engineer is directed to proceed with the engineering development and
t construction of theprojects in the most feasible and economical manner,
at an estimated coat of $110,000, and to assume the roads for State
maintenance upon completion of the construction herein authorized.
This Order is subject to acceptance by the County and if not accepted
within 90 days of the date hereof, the action herein contained shall be
automatically cancelled

On motion by Commissioner Porterfield and seconded by Commissiote r Dunn, the
Court voted to accept the provisions of Minute Order No 48459, and comply therewith

On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to pay all
bills which have been properly filed and approved.
• Whereupon the Court adjourned
SPECIAL MEETING - OCTOBER 13, 1960
A special mmeting of the Commissionera Court of Brazos County, Texas, was held
in theCommissioners Courtroom in the cotirtbausq, at Bryan, Texas, beginning at 10 00
o'clock A. M., on Thursday, October 13, 1960, with the following presents
A request was presented to the Commissioners from Mr. Jake Cangelose, County
Civil Defense Coordinator, that the County appropriate $600.00 per year for office
expenses incurred by the Civil Defends office. Mr. Cangelose reported that the City of
Bryan had allocated a a'im'itariamount and that he was also requesting the City of College
Station to do likewise. Oh motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted

to appropriate $600.00 per year for the Bramb9 County Civil Defense Unit.
There beinggno further business, the Court adjourned.

held in the Commissioners Courtroom in the courthoVse, at Bryan, Texas, beginning at
