BUDGET FOR 1961 Public notice is hereby given that pursuant to action of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas, taken on July a= 11, 1960, open public hearing will be held in the Commissioners Courtroom in the Courthouse at Bryan, Texas, at 10 00 a m , " on Monday, August 15, 1960, for consideration of the 1961 budget for Brazos County, submitted to the Court on July 11, 1960, and s. now remaibing on file in the office of the County Clerk of said County, all in accordance with law Taxpayers and others interested are invited and urged to acquaint themselves wtih the said budget during the time it remains on file with the Clerk before the hearing. At the conclusion of the hearing, final action will•be taken by the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas, for the adoption of the budget for 1961, as finally agreed upon. County Judge Davis laid before the Court a letter dated July 25, 1960, from the Board of County and District Road Indebtedness signed by Joe Nielson, Director, which was ~i read in open court advising Brazos County Commissioners Court that $4,969.16 represented the y f County's share of surplus funds as of August 31st After due consideration and discussion, it was moved by Commissioner Dunn that Joe Nelson, Director of Board of County and District Road Indebtedness, be advised that Brazos County desires that the surplus in the amount of $4,969.16 be returned to Brazos County and that the said money will be used for the conatToction and improvement of county lateral roads Commissioner Stasny seconded the 3 { motion and it was unanimously passed.
