From the foregoing results, it was found and declared by the Court that the proposed
' levying of a school tax in Kurten Common School District No. 10, had been approved by the
property tax-paying citizens resident within said district by a majority of 201 votes.
Thereupon, also cone on the matter of canvassing returns of another special election
held on April 2, 1960, in Kurten Common School District No. 10, to determine whether or
not a majority of the property tax-haying citizens resident within said district were in
favor of Assumption of indebtedness and levying the tax ip payment thereof. Whereupon,
a canvass of the returns made to the County Judge showed the following results of said

From the foregoing results, it was found and declared by the Court that the
property tax-~aying citizens resident with said district approved the assumption of `
indebtedness and levying the tax in payment thereof, by a majority of 193 votes.
On motion made, seconded and unanimously passed, the Court voted to raise the
salary of Etta Lee Wilson to $30 00 per week
On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to pay all bills
which have been properly filed and approved
Whereupon, the Court adjourned

On motion duly seconded and unanimously passed, the Court voted to amok bids on
two typewriters, and to accept the lowest bid
On motion made, seconded and unanimously passed, the Court voted to approved the
purchase of a 1954 Chevrolet Pick-up truck to be used by Commissioner Qsorge Dunn.
On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to pay all bills
which have been properly filed and approved
Whereupon, the Court adjourned
