whether cattle and horses shall be permitted to run at large in such subdivision. to wit;
Commissioners Precinct 1 of Brazos County. Texas. which is described more par-
ticularly as follows
•
Beginning at the intersection of Turkey Creek and Brazos River on the north
thence in an easterly direction along line of Turkey Creek. Country Club
Lake. Carters Creek. Sleepy Hollow Road. Wickson Creek to intersection of
Navasota River on the east. thence in a southerly direction along line

of Navasota River to where it runs into the Brazos River on the south.
thence in a westerly and northerly direction along line of Brazos River
to where it intersects Turkey Creek on the north.
Such election shall be held and conducted and the returns thereof made in accordance
with the laws regulating general ectlons, in so far as the same are applicable, and the
laws applicable to stock law electionsof such character, and the County Judge shall issue
the order therefore and cause public notice thereof to be given as provided by law.
On motion duly seconded and unamimously adopted, the Court voted to pay all bills whic
have been properly filed and approved.
Whereupon the Court adjourned.

A special meeting of the Commissioners Court of Brazos County. Texas, was held

in the Commissioners Courtroom in the courthouse, at Bryan, beginning at 9.00 O'olook A.M.
on Monday, July 20. 1959. with the following present.
W. C. Davis. County Judge. presiding,
Raymond A. Nolan. Commissioner of Precinct Number 1,
y George Dunn. Commissioner of Precinct Number 2,

Clyde J. Porterfield, Commissioner of Precinct Number S.
W. A. Stasny. Commissioner of Precinct Number 4, and
A. B. Syptak. County Clerk
The County Judge submitted the proposed budget for the fiscal (calendar) year of 1960
carrying total proposed expenditures and reserves of $572,400.00 with a recommended tax

rate of 95e per $100.00 valuation, Whereupon C9mmiss>loner Porterfield moved that the bud-
get be accepted and public hearing set thereon, and Commissioner Nolan seconded this motion.

which was unanimously adopted.
Motion was made, duly seconded, and unanimously adopted, by which it was ordered that
the proposed budget for 1960 be filed with the County Clerk and set down for public hearing
in the Commissioners Courtroom in the Courthouse at Bryan. Texas, at 10 00 a. m., on

Thursday, August 20. 1959, and that public advertisement of this hearing be made by pub-
lishing the following notice in the Bryan Daily Eagle of Bryan, Texas, once each week for '

throe weeks prior to the public hearing,

Public notice is hereby given that pursuant to action of the Comm-
issionors' Court of Brazos County, loxes, taken on July 20, 1959,
open public hearing will be held in the Commissioners Courtroom in
the Courthouse at Bryan. 1'exas at 10 00 a m., on Thursday. August
20, 1959, for consideration of the 1960 budget for Brazos County

submitted to the Court on July 20. 1959, and now remaining on
file in the office of the County Clerk of said County. all in
accordance with law.
Taxpayers and others interested are invited and urged to acq-
uaint themselves with the said budget during the time it re-
mains on file with the Clerk before the hearing.
At the conclusion of the hearing, final action will be taken by r
the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas. for the adop- 141, k,'`
tion of the budget for 1960. as finally agreed upon.
