BY PRESIDENT DATE: MAY , 1959 On motion duly made, seconded and unanimously passed, the Court voted to approve this Statement of Determination and authorized the County Judge to execute same. The Court received a request from the County Attorney, John M. Barron, requesting a raise in salary of his Secretary, Mrs. Virginia Moffitt, from $2,100.00 per year to 1 $2,400.00 per year, and on motion duly seconded and unanimously passed, the Court voted to raise such salary as requested effective May 15, 1959. The members of the Court constituted themselves into a Board of Equalization for Brazos County, and the County Clerk administered the statutory oath to each of them. Thereupon, the Board of Equalization recessed until 10:00 o'clock a.m.,,on Tnsedpy, May 12, 1959. On motion duly seconded,and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to pay all bills which have been properly filed and approved. Whereupon the Court adjourned. SPECIAL MEETING - MAY 14.-1959 A special meeting of the Commissioners Court of Brazos County, Texas, was held in the Courthouse at Bryan, beginning at 10 o'clock a.m. on Thursday, May 14th, 1959• with the following present: W.C. Davis, County Judge, presiding; Clyde J. Porterfield, Commissioner of Precinct No. 3; Y W.A. Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct No. 4; and A.B.
