A regular meeting of the Commissioners Court of Brazos County, Texas, was held in the Camaiesionere Courtroom in the courthouse, at Bryan, beginning at 10100 t o'clock a. m., on Monday, August 11, 1958, with the following presents d' A. Porterfield, Commissioner of Precinct Number 3, Newton Burlin, Commissioner of Precinct Number 41 and A. B. Syptak, County Clerk. Negro County Home Demonstration Agent Fannie J. Taylor appeared before the Court and asked permission to take ten days of annual leave beginning Au?pst 18, 1950. On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, this request was granted. a Tax Assessor-Collector Raymond B. Buchanan appeared before the Court and requested permission to equalize at $3,000.00 each the salaries of his second and third deputies c budgeted at $3,200.00 and $2,800.00 per annum and effective September 1, patty these two deputies each at the rate of 53000.00 per annum. On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, this request was granted with the understanding that there would be no increase in the total cost of these two salaries. - Upon motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to pay all bills which have been properly filed and approved.
