On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to employ Bernard Joseph Vogelgesang, of 1847 Randolph Avenue, St. Paul 5, Minnesota, as Probation Officer for the Juvenile Court of Braise County, Tema, at a salary of $6,000.00 per amps, plus expenses at the rate of =1,000.00 per annum, effective July 1, 1958, or as soon thereafter as he might find it convenient to report. General Contractors 608 Carson Street-Telephone 2-1492 P. 0. Box 927 Bryan, Texas --PROPOSAL-- May 12, 1958 County Commissioners Brazos County, Texas Dear Sirs The undersigned proposes to furnish all materials and perform all labor necessary to complete the followings 1. Install P-30 inlet box on sidewalk in front of Judicial Building where water stands highest after rains and to drain into 6" stoat sewer shown on Plot Plan 1H drawn by J. W. Hall, Jr. A11 for. . . . . .5345.00 2. Install P-30 inlet box in corner of turn in parking south of power pole located on east side of block and to drain into 12' storm sewer all shown an Plot Plan 1M drawn by J. W. Hall, Jr. All for. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .=295.00 Any alteration or deviation from the above specifications involving extra cost of material or labor will only be executed upon written orders for sans, and will become an extra charge over the sum mentioned in this contrast. After discussion and upon motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to award contract to Andrews-Parker, Inc., for the first item listed in the proposal, and which is in fall as follows" "Install P-30 inlet box on sidewalk in front of Judicial Building where water stands highest after rains and to drain into 6" storm sewer sham m Plot Plan IM drawn by J. The members of the Court constituted themeelvee into a Board of Equalisation for Brazos County, and the County Clerk administered the statutory oath to each of thee. Thereupon, the Board of Equalization recessed until 10:00 o'clock a* m., on Monday, May 190 1958. On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to pay all bill which have been properly filed and approved. The members of the Court took note of the untimely passing on yesterday by a sudden 3 , heart attack of Wallace M. Kimbrough, Canty Agricultural Agent of Brazos County, Texas, and agreed that the Court would this day stand adjourned out of respect to the long-time, faithful and highly-respected County officer. r Whereupon the Court adjourned.
