Engineer is directed to proceed in the most
feasible and economical manner with the con-
struction of Surfacing, at an estimated cost
of $101,500.00, subject to the availability
of funds in the Fans-to-Market Road fund as
established by Senate Bill 2879 51st Legislature.

Theocame on the matter of receiving, canvassing, and recording the returns from the
Special Election held throughout Brazos County, an November 5, 1997, for the purpose of voting

fbr or against the amendments to the Constitution. Whereupon, the returns from the said election
were duly canvassed, recorded and certified on Page 61, of Yolunr NO% of the Official Record
of Election Returns of Brazos County, Texas, on file in the office of the County Clerk.
On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to pV all bills

Whereupon the Court adjourned.
Special` Meetina - November 14. 1957.
A special meeting of the Co®►Sasioners Court of Brasoe County, Texas. was hold in
the Commissioners courtroom in the courthouse, at Bryan, beginning at 9x00 o'clock a. a.,
an Thursday, November 14, 1957, with the following presents
George Aron, Commissioner of Precinct No. 2;
Clyde J. Porterfield, Commissioner of Precinct No. 3;
Newton Burlin, Commissioner of Precinct No. 4; and
A. B. Syptak, County Clark. '
County Judge Ware and Commissioner Nolen were absent on account of illness, and
Coomissioner Burlin was presiding officer.
This meeting was by prearrangement with Mr. Andy Adam, Assistant Coordinator of
Foreign Programs at A. and N. College of Texas, and the purpose of this session was to met
with fir. H. H. Williamson and a group of five persons from Yugoslavia, who are making a study
of agricultural practices carried out in this country. the Court also dismseed County
government as well as State government, and explained the method by rich the taxes are levied

Joyce are present at this meeting and discussed the matter of employing and determining
the salaries of County Agents and Hama Demonstration Agents here in 'tiaras. •
The group were entertained at a luncheon in the home Caxdasioner Porterfield,
and later made a visit to the home of Commisaioner Dunn.
Whereupon the Court adjourned.
The foregoing minutes, beginning on Page 145, and concluded above, were eiamined
and approved in open Court on this the 9th day of December, A. D. 1957.
