$25,000 each year January 15, 1958 through January 15, 1961
to bear interest, payable semi-annually Jan. 15 & July 15th at First
National Bank, Bryan, Texas from dato of bonds to date of maturity, as
foumrs:
haturities 1/15/58 to 1/15/61, inclusive, at 3.60% per annum.
Bonds maturing during the years 19 to 19_, inclusive, are to be
optional for prior redemption at P37 and and accrued interest in 19__,
or any interest paying date thereafter.
WE WILL PAY par and accrued interest from c6te of Refunding Bonds to
date of delivery to us. We also agree to pay all legal fees of Dumas,
Huguenin & Boothman and cost of printing of the refunding bonds.
This offer is for immediate acceptance only, and is made subject to the
unqualified approval of their legality by the Attorney General of the
State of Texas, and b,( some recognized Bond Attorney to be designated
by you and whose fee we will pay. You agree to furnish us full and
complete transcript of all proceedings incident to the issuance of said
bonds. Printed bonds are to be furnished by us.
Delivery of the bonds is to be made at mutually agreeable.
You agree to pay us $-0- to cover expenses incurred by us.
This agreement shall be binding upon us for a period of 60 dos from its
date, and in the eventyou are unable to deliver such bonds to us dithin
the prescribed period in conformity with the provisions hereof, then and
in that event, we shall no longer be bound by the terms hereof, but shall
have an irrevocable option upon such bonds for the 60 days next succeeding
the expiration of our commitment unaer the same terns and conditions herein
recited.
As evidence of our good faith, we enclose, herewith, check in the amount of
$2,000 00 to be held by you uncashed, and returned to us when we have carried
out the terms of our agreement, or should we fail or refuse to take up said
bonds, to be forfeited by us as full and comuleto liquidating d mages and in
full and final settlement of any and all claims a-ainst us arising through
breach of our agreement.

It having been found and declared that the proposals submitted by Dallas Rupe
and Son of Kirby Building, Dallas, Teams, were the best and most advantageous to the
County, on motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted they were accepted for interest
rate of 3-W/100 per cent on warrants and 3-60/100 per cent on bonds to be issued
following conversion of the warrants, anti the Court further voted to authorize the
conversion of these warrants into bonds with the ultimate interest rate of 3-60-/100
per cent. The County Judge was authorized to advise Attorneys Dumas, Huguenin and
Boothman of Dallas, Texas, of this action.
Whereupon the Court adjourned.

A special meeting of the Commissioners Court of Brazos County, Texas, was
held in the office of the County Judge in the courthouse, at Bryan, beginning at
9:30 o'clock a. hp., on Friday, January 11, 1957, with the following present:
A. S. Ware, County Judge, presiding,
Clyde J. Porterfield, Commissioner of Precinct Number 3; and
Newton Burlin, Commissioner of Precinct Number 4.
Upon request of Commissioner Burlin and on motion duly seconded and
unanimously adopted, the Court voted to purchase from K. 0. Hudson of 300 South
Haswell Drive, Bryan, Taxes, and the G. H. A. C., Yariseo Building, Bryan, Terms,
