Three (3)Front End Loaders, diesel powered, 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 yard standard bucket, 55-60 Draw Bar h P. Tractor. One (1) Crawler Tractor, diesel powered, equipped with Bull- dozer, 75-BO Draw Bar H P., with cab and rock guards, electric starting system. Four (4) new 1957 yodel Truck Chassis with cab, 2J-3 tons capacity, equipped with two speed :ear axles and 900x2O ten-ply tires, two vehicles with 84-inch c.a, wheel-base, and two with 72-inch c a, wheel-base, all otherwise standard equipment and complete. One (1) new 1957 Model Truck Chassis with cab, 2-21, tons cap- acity, with two speed rear axles, b4-inch c, a, wheel- base, with 625x20 ten-ply tires and otherwise fully equipped and standard One (1) new 1957 Model Truck Chassis with cab, 2-2} tons cap- acity, complete with four-yard dump bed with five- yard tail gate, 72-inch c a, wheel-base, 625x20 ten- ply tires and otherwise fully equipped and standard. SUCH PROPOSALS will at said time be publicly opened and read before the Commissioners' Court. A CERTIFIED CHECK, or CASHIMIS CHECK in the amount of five per cent (5%) of the amount of the bid, must accompany each bid. IT IS THE INTUITION OF THE COMMISSIONERS' COURT TO PAY all or a portion of the purchase price of such road machinery by the issuance of and delivery to the proper contractor or contractors, the legally issued time warrants of &aid County, bearing interest at a rate not to exceed 4% per annum, payable annually or semi-annually, which said warrants shall not exceed the principal sum of ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($100,000), and the principal of said warrants shall be payable serially, the maximum maturity date to be not later than December 31, 1961. The County guarantees thit the contractor or contractors will receive face value for such warrants when and as the same are issued and delivered. THE RIGHT is reserved by Brazos County to reject any and all proposals and to waive all technicalities. ALL BIDS will be retained by the County and will not be returned to the bidders. /s/ A. S. Thereupon, the question being called for, the County Judge put the motion to a vote of the members of the Commissioners' Court, and the motion carried by the following votes Commissioners Nolan, am, Porterfield, and Burlin, voting 'AYE"1 and none voting "NO". On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to pay all bills which have been properly filed and approved and for which budgeted funds are available.
