On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to fix the salaries
of the foreman at the County Shope at the rate of $3,300 00 per annum and that of the mechanic
at the County Shope at the rate of $3,000.00 per annum, effective from September 1, 1956.
Whereupon the Court adjourned.

Regular Meeting - September 10, 1956.
A regular meeting of the Commissioners Court of Brazos County, Texas, was held in the
Commissioners Courtroom in the courthouse, at Bryan, beginning at 10:00 o'clock a. a., an
Monday, September 10, 1956, with the following presents

On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to allow Miss ;Emily
Ritter leave with pay from October 25, to November 1, 1956, to permit ner to attend the National
Convention of Home Demonstration Agents in Chicago, to which she has been officially elected as
a delegate from Brazos County.
The Court received, considered and approved the following reports from county and
precinct officers showing official fees of office collected and remitted to the County Treasurer
according to duplicate copies of Treasurer's official receipts attached therstot

adopted, the Court voted to purchase from the Mustang Tractor and Equipment Company, 7777
Washington Avenue, Houston, Texas, for allocation to Commissioner's Precinct No. 2, and to be
paid from its funds, the following:

A special meeting of the Commissioners Court of Brazos Canty, Texas, was held
in the Commissioners Courtroom in the courthouse, at Bryan, Texas, beginning at 10:00
