Bryan City MenaZ;er, Casey Fannin, appeared before the Court and exhibited"a blueprint of the newly planned runways for the Bryan Municipal Airport at Coulter Field. He explained that-, the planned improvements called for the installation of approximately 500 feet of 36-inch concrete pipe and the moving of approximately 100,000 cubic yards of dirt. Mr. Fannin stated that the City of Bryan would appreciate additional cooperation and, assistance which the County could give the City. It was aZreed among the Commissioners that they would contribute graders and dirt-moving equipment to the project of building and reshaping the runways for the airport and would otherwise cooperate with the City in development of the field into a first-class municipal airport. Then came on the matter fixing annual salaries and compensation for the year 1956.
