County School Superintendent for the school year beginning t . September 1, 1954, and ending August 31, 1955. " r A thorough examination of all the school warrants and l1 checks reveals only that the expenditures of school funds were lJ proper, and the administration of school affairs were handled in i an economical and business-like manner. The Court ratified and approved the action of the County Judge on November 16, 1955, in approving and ordering recorded the bond of Grady L. Whitener as a public weigher for Justice Precinct Number 4, Brazos County, Texas, with Fidelity & Deposit Company of Maryland as Surety. On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted the Court voted to pay all bills which , have been properly filed and approved and for which budgeted funds are available. j; W hereupon the Court adjourned. r SPECIAL MEETING December 21, 1955 ; A special meeting of the Commissioner's Court of Brazos County, Texas, was held in the office of the County Judge in the courthouse, beginning at 9100 a. m. on Wednesday, December 21, 1955, with the following present: A. S. Ware, County Judge, presiding= t, Raymond A. Nolan, Commissioner of Precinct No. 1; George Dunn, Commissioner of Precinct No. 2; } Clyde J. Porterfield, Commissioner of Precinct No. 31 and Newton Burlin, Commissioner of Precinct No. 4. " ` f Mr. Clean Bellamy of the firm of Caudill Rowlett Scott and Associates Architects and Engineers on the Brazos County Courthouse-Jail project, appeared before the Court and presented requested Change ~ Orders No. 4, ,5, and 6, ntwiah his firm was recommending to the Court for approval. i '-After detailed explanation of these items by Mr. Bellamy and discussion by members of the Court, a motion was made, duly seconded and unanimously adopted by which the proposed Change Orders were accepted and approved and ordered filed as amendments to the original contrast with A. P. Raedi & gone.
