Taws, for =100.00 cash, the two old used Naar two-way radio transmitter-receiver sets with speakers
and antennas, heretofore made surplus by the purchase of other equipment for the Sheriff's Department.'
It was found and declared by the Court that the foregoing was the highest and best bid for the surplus "

C equipment and the Sheriff was authorised and directed to deliver said equipment to the purchaser upon "
the payment of the $100.00 bid therefor, and the County Treasurer was directed to credit the 5100.00 ` •
to the General Fund.

On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to approve the filing and
and prosecution of a condemnation suit against Admonia Hall for 96/1000 acres of land in the Crawford -r
a Burnett Survey, Abstract No. 70 required for additional right-of-way for State Farm'-to-Market Highway
'y No. 2154.

been properly filed and approved and for which budgeted
funds are available.

Special Meeting - November 21, 1955
A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court was held in the office of the'MCounty Judge is
the Courthouse at Bryan, Texas, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 21,'1955, with the following:

Messrs. Fred A. Wahrman , John N. Sramak and Frank Sramek appeared before the Court and '

extended discussion was held with reference to additional right-of-way now being required by the State
of Texas for the widening of State Highway No. 21 so an to provide a four-lane highway from Bryan l r.l -

Air Force Base to I-0.N. Railroad underpass. This formal meeting was the culmination of extended
negotiations and conferences heretofore held by the members of the Court and three parties with '

owners along the-specified section of State Highway No. 21 compensation at the rate of $500.00

delivery of proper right-of-way deeds and after removal by the county'of
