In accordance with public notice heretofore given, the Court went into consideration of the
1955 proposed budget as submitted by the County Judge on July 29, 1955. After a discussion of the budget
and considering various matters and problems which will be encountered during the coming year, it was
voted to take the budget under,advicement and to further consider it at a subsequent meeting of the Court.
The Court received, examined, approved, and ordered filed the bond for 62500.00 of E. J. McBride
l as a public weigher in and for Justice Precinct No. 4 of Brazos County, Texas, dated August 24, 1955, and
executed by Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland by K. W. Fox, Attorney-in-Fact.
And whereupon the Court recessed to meet again at 8130 am- on Friday, September 2, 1955.

Pursuant to recess takes, on August 30, 1955, the Commissioners Court of Brazos County, Texas,
met in special session in the office of the County Judge beginning at 8130 a.m, on Friday, September 2, 1955,
with the following presents

After consideration of the budget as presented by the County Judge and over his objection, upon ,
motion duly seconded and adopted by a majority of the members, the Court voted to re-state the General
-Fund,,the Officers' Salary Fund, and the Sunmrary, consisting of Pages 60 12, 13, and 14, shoring
