P. Ware, County Judge Attorney to immediately and forthwith file condemnation proceedings against the following named partiess Reuben King and wife Margaret King; Ozelle Davis Townsend and husband J. B. Townsend; Waldo H. Walker and wife Ida Mae Walker; Nita Rooks and two daughters Corine Rooks Newsome and Pearl Rooks. Appearing before the Court were Mr. Clifton C. Carter, Chairmen of the Brazos County Democratic Executive Committee, and Mr. E. J. Blazek, member of the Brazos County Democratic Executive Committee and Chairman of Precinct No. 10 and as ouch the Presiding Judge of primary elactione held in Voting Precinct No. 10. These gentlemen urgently requested and strongly recommended that the Court change the polling place in the Brazos County Election Precinct No. 10. These gentlemen stated that the present location at the Carnegie Library was on edge of the precinct and more or less inconvenient to a great number of electors. They suggested that the polling place be changed to the Ban Milem School in the City of Bryan. After discussion and in conformity with the recommmendation of the County Chairman and Precinct Chainmant on nation duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the'Court voted to change ths'polling place of Brazos County Election Precinct No. 10 from the Carnegie Library an Main Street to the Ben "I ! Nolen laid before the Court the following bids for the one used D-6 Caterpillar tractor, Serial Number 441-1540 with attached Bucyrus-Erie, Model-0-38, two-wheel scraper, Serial Number 67048, which were surplus in his precinct and no longer capable of rendering efficient service: Brasov A. Varisoo of Bryan, was the highest and beat offer available, an motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to accept said bid and sell the used tractor for the specified price of $1605.00 cash, with delivery to be made upon receipt of the purchase money.. On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to offer for sale for cash to the highest bidder the used Allis-Chalmers motorgraderi Model D, Serial Number 2845, completes with two mould boards, one 10- and one 12-foot, now assigned to Precinct No. 41 and one used Galion motorgrader, Model 103, Serial Number MD-12482, presently assigned,to Precinct No. 31 for bide to be received and considered at the next regular meeting on September 12, 1955, according to the following notice to be published in the Bryan Daily Eagle once each week for three weeks before date of sale: "NOTICE OF SALE OF USED ROAD MACHINERY: Notice is hereby given that Brazos County will redsive bids up to 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 12, 1955, when they will be publicly opened and considered,for the sale by the County of the following described items of used road machinery, in good operating condition, but offered "as ia" f.o.b. Brazos County Shope near Bryan, Texas, where inspections may be made: One Galion motorgrader, Model 103, Serial Number MD-124821 One All' -Chalmers motorgrader, Model D,-Serial Number 2845, complete, with two mould boards, one 10- and one 12-foot. These items are offered for sale to the highest and beet bidder for cash and the County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
