Syptak, County.Clerk. i The Court having found and declared that the Ted Hall Wrecking Company of Des Moines, Iowa, had completed the rasing of the old Brazos County courthouse and clearing of the site in full com- pliance with the contract of February S. 1954, having used only eleven working days of the fourteen • i days provided therein, was entitled to receive payment of the 45,473.00. Said company having pre= i seated its affidavit as the payment of all outstanding bills and the Court having found that there +r is no further liability on the part of said contractor, on motion duly seceded and unanimously r adopted the Court voted to accept said proof and to pay the full contract price of $5,473.00 to the Ted Hall Wrecking Company in accordance with the invoice and affidavit attached hereto . August 17, 1954-e 0.~ On recommendation of the architects and upon motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted the Court voted to extend from September 7 until 2300 p.m., Tbursdyi September 9, 1954, the time for receiving, opening and considering bids for the conatraction of the proposed new courthouse-Sail as heretofore authorised by the following published statements eADVEQTISEENT FOR BIDS FOR MWOS COUNTT COURTHDUSE-JAI-L Sealed proposals addressed to the Brazos County Commissioners' Court, Bryan, Terse, covering the construction of the New Brazos County Courthouse- Jail, will be received at the Office of the County Judge, Moehlmen Building, 25th Street and Washington Avenue, Bryan, Tease, until 2300 p.m., September 7, 1954, and then be opened and read publicly the same date and time. Any bid received after closing time will be returned unopened. Detailed plans and specifications may be obtained at the office of Candill, Rowlett, Scott and Associates, Architects, 425 South Kain Street, Bryan, Texas. A deposit of $50.00 (fifty dollars) payable to the Architects will be rsquired'for each set of plena and specifications. This deposit will be refunded when the plane and specifications are returned, in good con- dition not later than 10 days after the opening of the bids. One lump sum bid will be submitted covering general construction, mechanical and electrical work. Separate bide will be submitted on jai1 equipment, but will be incorporated under the general contract for execution of the work. A 5% bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check will be required with each bid proposal. Information concerning any phases of this proposed work may be obtained by contacting Architects, Caudill, Rowlett, Scott and Associates, 425 South Main Street, Bryan, Taxes. This check was returned uncashed for the reason that the said first had complied fully Ath its contract and purchased the bonds in strict accordance therewith.
