The purpose of this meeting was to receive and act upon a payroll for fens
ing of right-of-way

for State Farm-to-Market Highway No. 2038 extending from Highway 21 at Hurtan westward to an inter-
section of the Tabor-Edge county road. Upon motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted the Court

payroll submitted by J. C. Marks, Comfy Shop Foreman
for the

After discussion and negotiation with Mr. H. W. Moehlmen of Bryan, the Court arranged for
a
the rental of his building at the corner of North Washington Avenue and 25th Street, in the City of
Bryan, for use by county offices during the period of construction of the new courthouse for Brazos

pon motion f seconded and unanimously duly adopted, the Court voted to authorize the County Judge
®
to execute the attached contract with Mr. Mo•hlmen for the rental of this building at $300.00 per month
for one year from July 1, 1954, with an option of extension for an additional six months on a month-to-
month basis according to the attached formal contract.
Whereupon the Court adjourned.
