A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court was held in the office of the County Judge in the '

May 14, 1954, with the following mambsrv preventr

The purpose of this meeting was to receive and act upon a payroll for fencing of right-of-way
for State Farm-to-Markei Highway No. 2038 extending from Highway 21 at Hurten westward to an inter-
section of the Tabor-Edge county road. Upon motion
duly seconded and unanimously adopted the Court
voted to approve and ordered paid the payroll submitted by J. C. Marks, County Shop Foreman, for the
period from May 1 through Mq 15, 1954, amounting to $357.50, to be paid from the item in the Road and

Whereupon the Court adjourned.

After discussion and negotiation with Mr. H. W. Moshlman of Bryan, the Court arranged for
' the rental of his building at the corner of North Washington Avenue and 25th Street, in the City of
Bryan, for use by county offices during the period of construction of the new courthouse for Brasov 'TIT county. rl
rJ,rr Upon motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to authorize the County Judge
to execute the attached contract with Mr. Moehlman for the rental of this building at =300.00 per month
for one year from July 1, 1954, with an option of extension for an additional six months on a month-to-
