A special meeting of the Brazos County Cosmissioners' Court was hold in the office of the County
Judge In the courthouse beginning at 8830 a.m., Wednesday, April 28, 1934, with the following me®bers
presents
A. S. Ware, County Judge, preaidingi
Raymond A. Nolen, Commissioner of Precinct No. li
Reuben F. Conrad, Commissioner of Precinct No. 2;
Clyde J. Porterfield, Commissioner of Precinct No. 31 and
Newton Berlin, Commissioner of Precinct No. 4.
the purpose of this meeting was to receive, consider and to give final approval to the preliminary
plane for the new courthouse-fail as submitted by Caudill, Rowlett, Scott and Associates, Architects, of
Bryan, Tears. Messrs. Bellamy and Merrell of the architectural firm presented the preliminary plans as
heretofore approved by members of the Court and now bearing the official okay and signature of each
officer concerned as to allocation of space in the various offices and subdivisions of the tour buildings
included in the project. After due consideration of these plane as approved by the officers concerned and
upon motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to give final approval to these pre-
liminary plans and to authorise the architects to proceed with final details and specifications for sub-
mission to contractors at the earliest possible date.
Whereupon the Court adjourned. I I

A special meeting of the Brasos County Commissioners, Court wee held in the office of the Cowty
Judge in the courthouse beginning at 9100 o'clock a.m., Tuesday, May 4, 1934, with the following members

the purpose of this special meeting was to confer with Mr. Hawley West of Xarten with reterenes
to right-of-way oft of his homestead re

to-larkst Highway No. 2038 now ready for final approval end letting of contract. After detailed discus-
ciao of all the factors involved, including the $800.00 estimated cost of houssmover for re-locating
residence and garage and considering the added oo" of plumbing and other services and connections amount
to $1200.00 total, an motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted the Court voted to pay Mr. West that
amount of money tar an easement to the required land in which event he would waive the moving of the !m-
prwvements on his real estate. It was ordered that the said $1200.00 be paid to Mr. West from the Right- ti
t of-W4y Fencing Fund. Wherea
8 pm Mr* and Mrs. Went executed the easement and the considerationr therefor
was delivered. '
