• ~ -A special meeting of the Brazos County Camissionars', Court was hold in the office of the county s4~•
Judge in the courthouse beginning at 8x30 a.m., Wednesday, April 28, 1954, with the following member.

'Yy Raymond A. Nolan, Commissioner of Precinct No. 11.

Clyde J. Porterfield, Commissioner of Precinct No. 3; and .

> the purpose of this meeting-was to receive, consider and to give final approval to the preliminary
plans for the new courthouse-jail as submitted by Caudill, Rowlett, Scott and Associates, Architects, of O
` Bryan, Texas. Messrs., Bellamy and Morrell of the architectural firm presented the preliminary plane as ~J
heretofore approved by members of the Court and now bearing the official okay and signature of each
officer concerned an to allocation of space in the various offices and subdivisions of the four buildings

upon motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to give final approval to these pro-
l-our liminary plans and to authorise the architects to proceed with final details and specifications for sub-

Whereupon the Court adjourned.
