Pace, Negro County Agricultural Agent, for leave of absence with pay fbr the period from June 1 to June 20, 1953, to enable him to tab "the in-training courses for extension workers at Prairie View A&M College. The Court received and heard a delegation of young people from the First Methodist Church of Bryan who were interested in problems of juvenile delinquency affecting the community. The group was com- posed of Mrs. Harry V. Rankin, a teacher of a Sunday School class, and Miss Helen Ludwig and Messrs. Clint Bertrand and Warren McKenzie. Members of the delegation discussed juvenile delinquency and the question of a probation officer of Brazos County. Members of the Court were sympathetic toward the proposals and requests and assured the members of the delegation that these matters would receive due consideration and possible budgetary attention during the taming year. Messrs. Jesse Wilson, V. It. Wilson and Albert Payne of the Edge community appeared before the Court and urged that the currently proposed State Farm-to,Harket road from State Highway No. 21 to ,Edge be routed along the league line intersecting the Macy read rather than following the route of the wdeting county road through lands belonging to them as now marked by the State Highway Department's arrveyorL:• the zwembers of the Court agreed to inspect the proposed routes and to maw such decisions as they should deem fair and equitable for all parties. •zbe Court received and approved the following requests for soil conservation work and authorised Commisalonsrs Conrad and $nrlin, respectively, to proceed with the jobs: THE STATE OF TEXAS 0 COUNTY OF 'BRAZOS 4 TO THE HONORABLE CClOMIONERS COURT OF BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS: Is J.
