S. Ware, County Judge, presiding) Raymond A. Nolan, Commissioner, Precinct' No. 11 Reuben P. Conrad, Commissioner, Precinct No. 21 Newton Burlin, Commissioner, Precinct No. 4; and A. B. Syptak, County Clerk. •,4 County Judge A. S. Ware submitted a proposed budget for the County tar the fiscal e ti'Y (calendar) year of 1953, carrying total proposed expenditures and reserves of $496,300.00, with a recom- L mended tan rate ot•80# per $100.00 valuation. This budget and its various schedules were disoueeed;in detail after which Commissioner Burlin moved that the budget be accepted as proposed, and Commissioner Nolan seconded this motion. This motion was unanimously-adopted. " f ' Colonel Rey Halsell, III, appeared before the Court and presented in detail the needs of the Bryan Armory of the Texas National Guard local unit and requested financial assistance from the Court in f the amount of $25.00 per month. Upon being fully acquainted with the needs of the said Armory, motion was made, duly s seconded and adopted by the affirmative votes of County Judge Ware, Commissioner Conrad, and Commiseioner ® 1 •Burlin, with Commissioner Nolan voting present, by which payment of $25.00 per month from the General Fund was authorized to be made to the Bryan Armory of the Texas National Guard local unit ftr the five months beginning August 1, 1952, and ending with December 31; 1952. t t On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to authorize the transfer of j t $6,000.00 from the Salary Fund to the General Fund. f { WRereu on a Cou adjourned. t ' Ana, ATTEST: COdnb?
