The County Judge presented to the Court the verbal request of Mr. R. B. Butler, President 1 of R. B. Butler, Incorporated, contractor, for a release from liability for property damage to the Court- house which might be occasioned by collapse or other structural failure during the repairs to be made + • s under the contract awarded his con pony.' After some discussion of the moister, Commissioner Porterfield i moved that Mr. Butler's request be granted and that he be not told liable for property damage to the t• t _ building due to collapse or structural failure during the repairs now being undertaken, with the distinct understanding and provision, however, that this waiver doss"not extend to, or include property damage occasioned by negligence an the part of the contractor or any of his employees, and flurthermore does not 2n } i d l b nc u e pu lic liability or personal injury claims. Leighton we elected County School Trustee in and for Commissioner's Precinct No. 1, Brasoo County, Taus, without opposition, having received 51 votes out of a total of 52 votes oast.
