Sheriff J. Y. Hamilton
appeared before the Court and made an earnest request for salary in.

Commissioner Berlin made formal request of the County Judge that he look up the law and advise

the members of the Court at a special meeting as to whether or not the-Court could on its own motion
order an election on the question of adopting the 1947 county optional road law or whether arch in

election must be initiated by petition.
Upon nation duly seconded and uaaaimoualy adopted, it was voted to pay all bills which bad been
