WHMWPON the said Reuben Franklin Conrad presented his official band imch was examined and '
approved by the County Judge and ordered filed. Thereafter the'County Judge administered to Mr. Conrad
the official oath of office and installed him as County Commissioner of Precinct No. 2, of Brazos County,
Texas.
County Clerk A. 0. Syptak then in open court administered to Commissioner Conrad the statutory
oath as a member of the Board of Equalization of Brazos County, Texas.

The Commissioners Court of Brasoe County, Texas, met in special session in the office of the
County Judge at the Courthouse in Btyan,,Texas, at nine o1clock a. me an Tuesday, June 5, 1951, with the ,
following members present:
A. S. Ware, County Judge, presiding;
Raymond A. Nolan, C,-4 sioner, Precinct No. 11
Clyde J. Porterfield, Commissioner, Precinct No. 3;. and
Newton Burlin, Commissioner, Precinct No. 4.
On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to hold
public hearings as a•

County Board of Tax Equalization all day on Wednesday, June 2D, 1951, and from sight o'clock a. a.•to twelve
now an Thursday, June 219 1951, and dire cted that formal notices of such hearings be mailed to the tax-
payers concerned. i

to record the plat and dedication of The Stratta Subdivision of a 20-acre tract out of the Be F. Austin j

League No. 10, Brazos County, Texas, being a portion of a tract of 103.42 acres conveyed to Charlie Stratta
by Lee Mleo, at al., by deed dated November 9, 1950, and recorded in Volume 147, page 292, Brazos County
Deed Records; as submitted by Charlie Stratta under date of May 21, 1951; with the distinct stipulation,
however, that Brazos County shall not thereby become liable for the construction or maintenance of any
streets or roads or for any entrance ways or culverts leading to or from the said Subdivision.
Whereupon the Court adjourned. '
