After a detailed presentation of the three projects and a respectfhl and courteous hearing on the part of the Highway Commissioners, the Court returned to Bryra and again assembled in the office ofI ' the County Judge. On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to reimburse Commissioner j Clyde J. EIPENSE ITEM in the Road and Bridge Fund. , Commissioner William A. Conrad explained his urgent need of a now truck for immediate use and stated that the successful bid for the 2}-ton Ford truck awarded to Bryan Motor Company of Bryan, Texas, an December 18, 1950, is yet unfilled for the reason that the dealer is experiencing unexpected difficulty in securing the described vehicle with two-apsed rear axle and is still unable to state def- initely whether or not he will be able to supply the item within the 90-day period originally allowed. Commissioner Conrad further stated that the Bryan Motor Company (name now changed to Carlo , Motor Company) is in position to supply at once a two-ton Ford truck which he now feels would serve his precinct purposes better than the 2j-ton truck originally asked for.
