S. Ware, County Judge, presiding; i Raymond A. Nolan, County Commissioner, Precinct No. 1; ..sue Clyde J. Porterfield, County Commissioner Precinct N r , o- 3; and ; Newton Burlin, County Commissioner, Precinct No- 4. On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to purchaee 'from W. Cole appeared befbre the Court and reported that they were unable to hire a properly qualified and competent clerical worker for the $1200.00 allocated to their offices and that of the Sheriff, and which item is carried forward into the 1951 budget at the same figure. Out of consideration for these gentlemen and the difficulty they are facing, on motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to authorise the mployment of a clerical worker for these offices at a salary not to exceed $137.50 per month, or at the rate of $1650.00 per annum, effective from and after January 1, 1951. At the request of County Clerk A. Be Syptak and his report that an inequity existed in the salary of the Deputy County Clerk whose salary has heretofore,basn $1980.00 per annum and which has beam carried forward in the 1951 budget at the same figure, and in order to correct this inequity, he requested that this salary be fixed at the rate of $2160.00 per annum. On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court granted this request and directed that the salary of this Deputy County Clerk be fixed at $2160.00 per annum, effective from and after January 1, 1950.
