HomeMy WebLinkAbout1950-11-20-1000AM-RegularSPECIAL MEETING, MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2D, 1950 The Commissioners Court of Brazos County, Texas, met in special session at the office of the County Judge at the Courthouse in Bryan, at ten o'clock a. m., Monday, November 2D, 1950, with the fol- r loving members preseatt • A. S. Ware, County Judge, presiding; Raymond A. Nolan, County Commissioner, Precinct No. 1; Clyde J. Porterfield, County Commissioner, Precinct No. 3; and Newton Burlin, County Commissioner, Precinct No. 4. On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to purchase from W. kl.-Greenwood of Calvert, Texas, the following described equipment which had theretofore been inspected and approved by th ree Commissioners and the County Mechanic: One used 1947 International truck chassis and cab, Model MB-6, Serial No. 2781,8 , equipped with a 1®-7 International Motor No. BLD 250-44492, and also equipped with one Tulsa winch and two 55-gallon saddle fuel tanks; One 306-inch Hobbs float, four wheels, complete with air brakes and hitches; all delivered f.o.b. Bryan for . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .$3000.00 It was further voted to pay for the above described equipment from the New Machinery and Equipment Item in the 1951 budget when these fords are available, and to allocate the said equipment to Commissioners Precincts Noe. 3 and 4, vhioh will be debited with the cost thereof.
